I also used Twine today, it is beautifully crafted. But, it may not go afar as its founders have hoped. The reason is what you have given: it is too much a hassle to use it and add tags, summaries to items.
But it is nice idea, very much like what we are trying to do at http://goofy2.com. The difference is we agree that users are lazy so we don't expect them to tag or digg.

发现一个现象——中文语义的模糊和科学名词来自拉丁和西方语言的事实，导致国人许多无谓的语义争论，其实都是一个东西，却被语义误导，正来争取，还以为自己掌握真理。
建议掌握一门西文，就可以知道很多东西其实是一种东西，比如小时候我问父母鸡是什么动物，答曰：禽，一直没有弄懂啥叫禽，查中文字典也不甚了了，后来大学学动物学，说得很简单——鸟啊（bird）。
在这种地方要去查中文词典，一定有问题，因为中国从来就没有科学的分类法。没准弄出来“大者为禽，小者为鸟”这种含义含糊的东西来，还以为是学问，其实是更加迷糊。

在下是学植物学的，从种属上来说，蔷薇科的东西都叫rose, 不认为楼主误人子弟，建议阁下你恶补一下。

这样的误读还有很多，比如提子和葡萄，英语都是grapes，提子不过是广东话而已，但是被误传后，大家会争论提子是提子，葡萄是葡萄，要是跟老外争起来就好玩了：
Tizi is not grapes, tizi is more expensive....
哈哈，在英语里，提子对应得词是grapes...haha

数字版权这种东西，好像是电脑时代的毛笔，你可以做得更加精致，但是难逃覆灭的命运。即使是世界上的大软件和唱片公司，也必须做出商业模式的改变，否则Napster这种事情还会出现。
