摩西十诫（Ten Commandments）

摩西十诫据说是上帝在西乃山的山顶亲自传达给摩西的，是上帝对以色列人的告诫。上帝本人将这些话刻在石碑上，送给摩西。但是，后来摩西看到族人根本不听从这些诫条，一怒之下就将石碑毁了，

于是，上帝又命令摩西再制作新的石碑，完成后，放在约柜（Ark of the Covenant）里。

以色列人将约柜看作圣物，放在圣殿里，任何人不得擅自触摸。《圣经》里记载有人因为擅自触摸约柜而被雷击致死。而且，有外人从至圣所的帐门窥望过，发现约柜的上方经常都有云雾积聚。后世的科学家根据这些纪录，推断可能在约柜内放置了一种简单的生物电池，就像在古埃及陵墓发现的那一种。电的积聚使水汽积聚，并使触摸的人触电。

到了公元前590年，新巴比伦王尼布甲尼撒二世攻打犹太国，耶路撒冷在被困３年以后，终于在公元前586年被巴比伦军队攻占，王宫和圣殿全被烧毁，从此，约柜下落不明。刻有十诫的石碑也就找不到了。

摩西生活的年代大约距今3000多年，这样算来，约柜存世的历史大概也就六七百年。

虽然实物早在耶酥出生几百年前就找不到了，但是"摩西十诫"作为《圣经》中的基本行为准则，流传了下来，影响深远。它是以色列人一切立法的基础，也是西方文明核心的道德观。

不得不承认，"摩西十诫"确实有巨大的道德力量。

"十诫"中有一条是"你不可以杀人"，很多信徒就是因为这句话，终身不愿意持有武器。这句话只有6个字，但是反复诵念，真的有一种大义凛然、百邪不侵的感觉。

"摩西十诫"在《圣经》出现了两次，一次是在《出埃及记》（Exodus），另一次是在《申命记》（Deuteronomy）。两次语句有差异，但是基本内容是一致的。

下面是《出埃及记》中的原文。

19:1
[hgb] 以 色 列 人 出 埃 及 地 以 后 ， 满 了 三 个 月 的 那 一 天 ， 就 来 到 西 乃 的 旷 野 。
[bbe] In the third month after the children of Israel went out from Egypt, on the same day, they came into the waste land of Sinai.

19:2
[hgb] 他 们 离 了 利 非 订 ， 来 到 西 乃 的 旷 野 ， 就 在 那 里 的 山 下 安 营 。
[bbe] And when they had gone away from Rephidim and had come into the waste land of Sinai, they put up their tents in the waste land before the mountain: there Israel put up its tents.

19:3

19:4

[bbe] If now you will truly give ear to my voice and keep my agreement, you will be my special property out of all the peoples: for all the earth is mine:

19:6

[bbe] And you will be a kingdom of priests to me, and a holy nation. These are the words which you are to say to the children of Israel.

19:7

[bbe] And Moses came and sent for the chiefs of the people and put before them all these words which the Lord had given him orders to say.

19:8
[hgb] 百 姓 都 同 声 回 答 说 ， 凡 耶 和 华 所 说 的 ， 我 们 都 要 遵 行 。 摩 西 就 将 百 姓 的 话 回 覆 耶 和 华 。
[bbe] And all the people, answering together, said, Whatever the Lord has said we will do. And Moses took back to the Lord the words of the people.

19:9
[hgb] 耶 和 华 对 摩 西 说 ， 我 要 在 密 云 中 临 到 你 那 里 ， 叫 百 姓 在 我 与 你 说 话 的 时 候 可 以 听 见 ， 也 可 以 永 远 信 你 了 。 于 是 ， 摩 西 将 百 姓 的 话 奏 告 耶 和 华 。
[bbe] And the Lord said to Moses, See, I will come to you in a thick cloud, so that what I say to you may come to the ears of the people and they may have belief in you for ever. And Moses gave the Lord word of what the people had said.

19:10
[hgb] 耶 和 华 又 对 摩 西 说 ， 你 往 百 姓 那 里 去 ， 叫 他 们 今 天 明 天 自 洁 ， 又 叫 他 们 洗 衣 服 。
[bbe] And the Lord said to Moses, Go to the people and make them holy today and tomorrow, and let their clothing be washed.

19:11
[hgb] 到 第 三 天 要 预 备 好 了 ， 因 为 第 三 天 耶 和 华 要 在 众 百 姓 眼 前 降 临 在 西 乃 山 上 。
[bbe] And by the third day let them be ready: for on the third day the Lord will come down on Mount Sinai, before the eyes of all the people.

19:12
[hgb] 你 要 在 山 的 四 围 给 百 姓 定 界 限 ， 说 ， 你 们 当 谨 慎 ， 不 可 上 山 去 ， 也 不 可 摸 山 的 边 界 ， 凡 摸 这 山 的 ， 必 要 治 死 他 。
[bbe] And let limits be marked out for the people round the mountain, and say to them, Take care not to go up the mountain or near the sides of it: whoever puts his foot on the mountain will certainly come to his death:

19:13
[hgb] 不 可 用 手 摸 他 ， 必 用 石 头 打 死 ， 或 用 箭 射 透 ， 无 论 是 人 是 牲 畜 ， 都 不 得 活 。 到 角 声 拖 长 的 时 候 ， 他 们 才 可 到 山 根 来 。
[bbe] He is not to be touched by a hand, but is to be stoned or have an arrow put through him; man or beast, he is to be put to death: at the long sounding of a horn they may come up to the mountain.

19:14
[hgb] 摩 西 下 山 往 百 姓 那 里 去 ， 叫 他 们 自 洁 ， 他 们 就 洗 衣 服 。
[bbe] Then Moses went down from the mountain to the people, and made the people holy; and their clothing was washed.

19:15
[hgb] 他 对 百 姓 说 ， 到 第 三 天 要 预 备 好 了 。 不 可 亲 近 女 人 。
[bbe] And he said to the people, Be ready by the third day: do not come near a woman.

19:16
[hgb] 到 了 第 三 天 早 晨 ， 在 山 上 有 雷 轰 ， 闪 电 ， 和 密 云 ， 并 且 角 声 甚 大 ， 营 中 的 百 姓 尽 都 发 颤 。
[bbe] And when morning came on the third day, there were thunders and flames and a thick cloud on the mountain, and a horn sounding very loud; and all the people in the tents were shaking with fear.

19:17
[hgb] 摩 西 率 领 百 姓 出 营 迎 接 神 ， 都 站 在 山 下 。
[bbe] And Moses made the people come out of their tents and take their places before God; and they came to the foot of the mountain,

19:18
[hgb] 西 乃 全 山 冒 烟 ， 因 为 耶 和 华 在 火 中 降 于 山 上 。 山 的 烟 气 上 腾 ， 如 烧 窑 一 般 ， 遍 山 大 大 地 震 动 。
[bbe] And all the mountain of Sinai was smoking, for the Lord had come down on it in fire: and the smoke of it went up like the smoke of a great burning; and all the mountain was shaking.

19:19
[hgb] 角 声 渐 渐 地 高 而 又 高 ， 摩 西 就 说 话 ， 神 有 声 音 答 应 他 。
[bbe] And when the sound of the horn became louder and louder, Moses' words were answered by the voice of God.

19:20
[hgb] 耶 和 华 降 临 在 西 乃 山 顶 上 ， 耶 和 华 召 摩 西 上 山 顶 ， 摩 西 就 上 去 。
[bbe] Then the Lord came down on to Mount Sinai, to the top of the mountain, and the Lord sent for Moses to come up to the top of the mountain, and Moses went up.

19:21

[hgb] 耶 和 华 对 摩 西 说 ， 你 下 去 嘱 咐 百 姓 ， 不 可 闯 过 来 到 我 面 前 观 看 ， 恐 怕 他 们 有 多 人 死 亡 ，
[bbe] And the Lord said to Moses, Go down and give the people orders to keep back, for fear that a great number of them, forcing their way through to see the Lord, may come to destruction.

19:22
[hgb] 又 叫 亲 近 我 的 祭 司 自 洁 ， 恐 怕 我 忽 然 出 来 击 杀 他 们 。
[bbe] And let the priests who come near to the Lord make themselves holy, for fear that the Lord may come on them suddenly.

19:23
[hgb] 摩 西 对 耶 和 华 说 ， 百 姓 不 能 上 西 乃 山 ， 因 为 你 已 经 嘱 咐 我 们 说 ， 要 在 山 的 四 围 定 界 限 ， 叫 山 成 圣 。
[bbe] And Moses said to the Lord, The people will not be able to come up the mountain, for you gave us orders to put limits round the mountain, marking it out and making it holy.

19:24
[hgb] 耶 和 华 对 他 说 ， 下 去 吧 ， 你 要 和 亚 伦 一 同 上 来 ， 只 是 祭 司 和 百 姓 不 可 闯 过 来 上 到 我 面 前 ， 恐 怕 我 忽 然 出 来 击 杀 他 们 。
[bbe] And the Lord said to him, Go down, and you and Aaron may come up; but let not the priests and the people make their way through to the Lord, or he will come on them suddenly.

19:25

[bbe] So Moses went down to the people and said this to them.

20:1
[hgb] 神 吩 咐 这 一 切 的 话 说 ，
[bbe] And God said all these words:

[bbe] I am the Lord your God who took you out of the land of Egypt, out of the prison-house.

20:3
[hgb] 除 了 我 以 外 ， 你 不 可 有 别 的 神 。
[bbe] You are to have no other gods but me.

20:4
[hgb] 不 可 为 自 己 雕 刻 偶 像 ， 也 不 可 作 什 么 形 像 仿 佛 上 天 ， 下 地 ， 和 地 底 下 ， 水 中 的 百 物 。
[bbe] You are not to make an image or picture of anything in heaven or on the earth or in the waters under the earth:

20:5

[hgb] 不 可 跪 拜 那 些 像 ， 也 不 可 事 奉 它 ， 因 为 我 耶 和 华 你 的 神 是 忌 邪 的 神 。 恨 我 的 ， 我 必 追 讨 他 的 罪 ， 自 父 及 子 ， 直 到 三 四 代 ，
[bbe] You may not go down on your faces before them or give them worship: for I, the Lord your God, am a God who will not give his honour to another; and I will send punishment on the children for the wrongdoing of their fathers, to the third and fourth generation of my haters;

20:6
[hgb] 爱 我 ， 守 我 诫 命 的 ， 我 必 向 他 们 发 慈 爱 ， 直 到 千 代 。
[bbe] And I will have mercy through a thousand generations on those who have love for me and keep my laws.

20:7
[hgb] 不 可 妄 称 耶 和 华 你 神 的 名 ， 因 为 妄 称 耶 和 华 名 的 ， 耶 和 华 必 不 以 他 为 无 罪 。
[bbe] You are not to make use of the name of the Lord your God for an evil purpose; whoever takes the Lord's name on his lips for an evil purpose will be judged a sinner by the Lord

20:8
[hgb] 当 记 念 安 息 日 ， 守 为 圣 日 。
[bbe] Keep in memory the Sabbath and let it be a holy day.

20:9
[hgb] 六 日 要 劳 碌 作 你 一 切 的 工 ，
[bbe] On six days do all your work:

20:10
[hgb] 但 第 七 日 是 向 耶 和 华 你 神 当 守 的 安 息 日 。 这 一 日 你 和 你 的 儿 女 ， 仆 婢 ， 牲 畜 ， 并 你 城 里 寄 居 的 客 旅 ， 无 论 何 工 都 不 可 作 ，
[bbe] But the seventh day is a Sabbath to the Lord your God; on that day you are to do no work, you or your son or your daughter, your man-servant or your woman-servant, your cattle or the man from a strange country who is living among you:

从上面这段引文可以看出，《圣经》中并没有明确提出"十诫"，具体十条诫文是后人总结归类的，因此，各个教派的"十诫"条文都不完全一样。

下面是经总结后的"摩西十诫"。这是基督教新教的分法，天主教的分法与此不同，第一条和第二条是连在一起的，而第十条被分成了两个部分。

第一条："我是耶和华－你的上帝，曾将你从埃及地为奴之家领出来，除了我之外，你不可有别的神。"

　　第二条："不可为自己雕刻偶像，也不可做什么形象仿佛上天、下地，和地底下、水中的百物。不可跪拜那些像，也不可事奉它，因为我耶和华－你的上帝是忌邪的上帝。恨我的，我必追讨他的罪，自父及子，直到三四代；爱我、守我戒命的，我必向他们发慈爱，直到千代。"
